Similar to the Center’s establishment, the first version of its website was created quickly to meet the Center’s basic requirements. It helped introduce the Center during its early stages and showcase some of the most important indicators and statistical data of great interest to the field. Despite its simple interface, it served as an important bulletin board for the Center’s announcements, such as its job vacancies and tenders. It was an excellent recruitment tool. In addition, it featured the Center’s news and events. Although not as interactive as it should be, it served its purpose in principle.

An addressable service specifically for national statistical centers. It contains the CVs of statistical experts in various statistical fields, whose expertise may be utilized by national statistical centers.

Since the first version of the Center’s website was hastily produced, the Center’s goal was to create a second version. This new version takes into account the latest technologies, adds useful and convenient services for the user, and is easy to navigate and use. It also serves a diverse user base, particularly statisticians and decision makers.

A notable improvement to the interface, apart from its aesthetic appeal, is its responsiveness to various screen sizes, enabling it to fit clearly and easily on smartphone and tablet screens.
The Forum
The forum was created as a haven for statisticians, specifically members of standing committees, to discuss committee matters, share required files, and follow up on the implementation of their recommendations and decisions.
Events Calendar
A modern way of displaying the Center’s activities in the form of an interactive calendar. This allows users to see upcoming events more clearly, add them to their calendars, and stay informed about workshops, trainings, or any other events they may wish to join.
Jobs
The Center is indispensable to the staff who manage it. Therefore, a system was created to display jobs and automatically receive applications, allowing everyone from all over the world, and from the GCC countries in particular, to apply and offering equal opportunities for all.
Tenders
The Center is indispensable to the qualified personnel who evaluate it. Therefore, a system has been established to automatically display and receive job applications, enabling everyone from all over the world, and GCC countries in particular, to apply and offer equal opportunities to all.
Site Policies and Terms of Use
The Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, and Terms of Use are important documents on the site. They follow international standards and requirements for website development. They define the user’s rights and obligations on the site, how their privacy and data are protected, and how the site and its administration utilize them.
Registration
One of the most important tools lacking in the first version, it allows users to create their profiles on the site, and the site administration can create content that is displayed to users based on their permissions.
SSL (Secure Sockets Layer)
This feature is optional for those who wish to encrypt the channel between them and the site, and contributes to enhancing user protection. This feature is activated during login.

A tree-like display of all the site’s sections, giving the user a complete picture of its content.

Data Portal
The largest statistical service added to the site, it is an interactive statistical database covering various fields. It displays this data in various expressive graphs and allows users to search this data, build complex queries, or even download these databases for processing with a different tool.
Electronic Library
Displays the Center’s files and publications, as well as publications from national centers. It is tabbed alphabetically and by country, making it easier for users to find what they are looking for.

The third edition of the Center’s website is the culmination of its experience, featuring a radical change in both its statistical and technical aspects. Based on these two aspects, the website was redesigned, its links and sub-sections reorganized, making them extremely easy for users to navigate through the site’s pages, and making it intuitive to know their next destination. The website was designed using the latest display and interactive technologies, and is enriched with statistical data and information in various colors, shapes, and formats.
